For B’s birthday party I wanted something sweet and childlike, something that wasn’t too overdone, and something neutral while I can still call the shots (because we all know in another couple years he will be dictating all color palettes and themes! ha!)
We decided to do our own spin on the “one sweet boy” theme.
Alright so keeping up with content since having Beau hasn’t been my specialty. I can admit that! It’s a lot to juggle, I know we can all relate…but today I am finally sharing photos of our nursery! I’m so excited to get this space up on the site because it’s been so good to us! […]
Anyways, onto the good stuff. I feel like when we made our registry there were all these things I thought we needed. Truthfully, we really did use A LOT of what I researched and bought. There are definitely things that make the start of motherhood a little bit easier. Today I’m sharing what should definitely go on your registry. These are the things we used and continue to use almost daily in our house and I love them all!
I can’t believe how close we are to meeting this miracle boy! Tomorrow I’ll be 36 weeks and I am finally getting around to sharing our maternity photos from Laura Moll Photo! These photos hold the most special place in my heart now. I have never felt more love or more loved than I have in the last few months of this pregnancy and looking at this growing family of mine…I swear my heart could burst.
If you’ve been following along on Instagram, then you probably know that this room has been a little bit of a pain in my a** lol. We installed bead board (and when I say “we”, I mean our friend Joe did it for us!). I painted it in Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore (the same as our entryway) but something just didn’t feel quite right. I kept trying to figure out what was bothering me and ultimately it ended up being the color that was bugging me. So I whipped out that handy dandy white and it felt like a whole new room!
Rainbow confetti for our RAINBOW BABY!! 🌈
After a lot of tears and loss and hard freaking work, this baby is like our light at the end of the tunnel.
I hope you know how loved you already are sweet baby. By us and everyone else. We have been waiting for you for a lifetime. I can’t wait to be your mama.
To my husband & the greatest friend I’ve ever had…you are already the best dad and my heart hurts in the best way watching you light up at our ultrasounds. Thank you for everything that you are and everything you make me. We are so lucky to be loved by you.
