I really focused in on finding budget friendly pieces and dupes of more expensive items I loved for this project. Everything in life is so expensive for everyone right now and I was thrilled to find pieces at half their regular price using discount sites like Overstock. (Not a paid partnership). I was particularly stoked on this table! Finding that white oak look at a reasonable price is hard!
Alright so keeping up with content since having Beau hasn’t been my specialty. I can admit that! It’s a lot to juggle, I know we can all relate…but today I am finally sharing photos of our nursery! I’m so excited to get this space up on the site because it’s been so good to us! […]
If you’ve been following along on Instagram, then you probably know that this room has been a little bit of a pain in my a** lol. We installed bead board (and when I say “we”, I mean our friend Joe did it for us!). I painted it in Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore (the same as our entryway) but something just didn’t feel quite right. I kept trying to figure out what was bothering me and ultimately it ended up being the color that was bugging me. So I whipped out that handy dandy white and it felt like a whole new room!
This wall has always been a challenge for me. It just never seemed finished or right no matter what I did. Its a huge 10 ft long wall with vaulted ceilings and it always felt empty. It desperately needed a wall installation but I had to find one that was easy and renter friendly.
Our bedroom is officially my favorite room in the house. BRB while I redo every single room in the rest of our house.
Neutral, modern vintage, inviting, fresh…these are the words I had in mind when I started working on this room. I think we managed to accomplish just that!
