TWO WHOLE YEARS…That’s how long I have wanted to do this project. But you know, life gets in the way and there is always one reason or another to put off something big like this.

After all the delays and procrastination, IT’S FINALLY DONE! Well, the first phase anyway….

So if you’re new here, we decided to give our rental kitchen a small, cost effective, but seriously impactful facelift! We painted all of our cabinets a creamy white and updated the hardware with modern brass ones and the difference is mind blowing. See for yourself…keep scrolling for more before and after pictures!

We are totally in love with how much of a difference this made in our whole house really! It so much lighter, not just in color, but in the way it feels too! The older wood really weighed our space down and didn’t do all this great natural light justice!

The only decor piece we’ve added so far is this incredibly convenient Ruggable rug! (linked at the bottom of the post!) The reason I went with this company is because you can throw the rug IN THE WASHING MACHINE! How wild is that? I couldn’t think of a better rug for the kitchen with all the food dropping that happens here!

Our next phase will be decor and fully organizing the inside of the cabinets! Stay tuned!
